Organic Planet | Greenwich, CT

Organic Planet is the definition of a hidden gem. Seriously.

I came across Organic Planet by happenstance and figured I’d swing by and see what they were all about, only to be pleasantly surprised to find a chic, though homey restaurant, tucked away on the top floor of a Greenwich building.

There are some great restaurants in Connecticut, but none really cater to serving simple, organic food (let alone a mostly gluten-free menu) save for a few, including Organic Planet. Their space is bright and spacious, yet feels as though you’ve been invited into someone’s home for a lovely dinner.

The menu is completely organic (of course), with produce coming in from The Back Forty Farm. Most of the menu items are gluten-free and/or vegetarian/vegan, including the desserts. I have been there numerous times over the past year and usually get one of their salads, though the stir fry with chicken has been a recent favorite of mine. They also offer daily specials, which are a nice alternative to the usual menu.

Organic Planet has quickly become a little haven of peace for me. I can enjoy good food, conversation and drink in a lovely setting. What more do you need?
