KIND Healthy Grains Granola Bars

Gluten-free granola bar perfection: KIND is your name.
I have eaten A LOT of gluten-free granola bars in my quest to find the perfect one. What is perfection? For me, it's a gluten-free granola bar that tastes like the Quaker Oats granola bars I used to eat when I was a kid. They were sweet, oaty and my favorite (Chocolate Chip) had just the right amount of chocolate chips.
I thought I would never find this elusive gluten-free granola bar until I stumbled upon the new KIND Healthy Grains Granola Bars at Fairway. I like KIND bars, but I always found them to be a tad too sweet or just too overwhelming with nuts. I stopped eating them, but lately Mr. misterbelly has been eating them like they were going out of style, so I figured I'd jump back on the bandwagon and give these new bars a try. I'm ecstatic I did!
I grabbed one and took it to work, figuring I would chow down during a snack attack and pray for the best. The first thing I noticed when I peeled open the wrapper was the shape. KIND bars are usually rectangular in shape and have a certain thickness to them. These, on the other hand, were almost square shaped and quite thin. I took a bite and fell in love immediately. The granola was well balanced with a subtle honey sweetness and then you get bits of delicious chocolate chunks. It all comes together in a way that will have you devouring the bar in seconds.
I have been through about three boxes in the last couple of weeks, they are THAT good. I even decided to expand and try the Oats and Honey flavor, which has a subtle flavor of honey and is a good option if you're looking for something a little plainer.
I couldn't praise these granola bars enough even if they paid me to do it. Seriously.
If you're looking for a granola bar that is low in calories (the Dark Chocolate Chunk is 150 calories), gluten-free and tastes genuinely GOOD, look no further.
KIND, if you are reading this, feel free to send me a few cases. I'll put them to good use… in my belly. :-)
