I’ve been doing a bad job of keeping up with all of the fun new gluten-free products on the market lately. It’s a lot to keep up with, especially at the rate that new products are hitting the market. I’m always on the look out when I’m out shopping and was pleasantly surprised to find out that Udi’s Gluten Free Foods now makes soft-baked gluten-free chocolate chip cookies. I picked up the container at the store and peered closely at the cookies, they looked good, but we all know that many gluten-free products look good and end up tasting like sawdust.
I’m a big fan of WOW chocolate chip cookies, and wasn’t really sure how the Udi’s cookies would stack up, but after one bite, I was hooked.
If you’re a fan of WOW cookies, you’ll love the Udi’s cookies. They are soft, chewy and delicious. The brown sugar in the cookies comes through, but doesn’t overpower the flavor. Did I mention they are SOFT and delicious?
I’ve seen them out in the bakery aisle at Whole Foods and in the freezer section at other stores. Not sure how long you would have to defrost them for, but I recommend leaving them on your counter – they won’t last long enough to go bad. Trust me!
