Generation Gluten-Free

The past few weeks have been utter chaos for me, but I'm back and feeling inspired again. Maybe it's the onset of spring, or maybe it just took me finally realizing what I need to prioritize in my life, but I'm ready to be back in the kitchen, getting inspired by ingredients and making some tasty gluten-free food.

The other day I bought a whole bunch of seeds from Whole Foods: heirloom tomatoes, spicy peppers and some herbs that I'm really excited to start planting out in the garden. I've missed being able to go outside and pick veggies and herbs fresh from the earth. Most of all, I just miss seeing the sun shining brightly every day.  I definitely will not miss being greeted by darkness every time I leave the office.

I'm kicking off the start of spring, and resolving to devote more time to Misterbelly, with a giveaway. This one has been a long time coming and is courtesy of the very patient and lovely Susan Cohen, who you may or may not know as the creator of "Generation Gluten-Free" a documentary that delves into the lives of Celiac sufferers and entrepreneurs who have created their livelihoods on servicing the gluten free community.

The documentary is really well done and features many familiar faces including Joseph Pace owner/chef of Risotteria in NYC and George and Ceil Chookazian owners of Foods by George. It's a perfect film for those of you who are new to gluten freedom, or even if you just want to learn more about the community out there and the support system that exists.

Want to win?  To enter, all you need to do is leave a comment telling me how long you have been gluten-free for. Enter by 11:59 PM ET on March 31st.  Two winners will be selected randomly and announced by Sunday, April 3rd.  Giveaway open to U.S. residents only. Prize shipped directly from Good luck and Happy Spring!

**Update:  The winners are Rachael and Sandy M.  Congrats and thank you to all who entered!
